Readers of this blog will know I'm a disciple of Garr Reynolds' Presentation Zen blog - purveying all that is good about delivering powerful presentations that allow a focus on the speaker - not detailed and boring Powerpoint slides.
Here's a good deck of Garr's designed to point out the power of empty space on a slide.
Particular favourite slides of mine:
#51 - particularly pertinent in a sales situation
#61 - used to love Pac-man(!)
#70 - so relevant for Microsoft Partners
#75-78 - if you're going to give a presentation, go the whole hog and provide handouts - the audience will appreciate the take-away, and your slides will be less cluttered (because you've created an avenue for removing the clutter)
#82 - what a great way of showing an agenda, complete with the time each segment will take up
