[Hi Alan - thanks for your question - Amit, a Technology Specialist with Microsoft advises....
The approach Microsoft has taken is to enable the management of both Hyper-V and VMware infrastructure from within System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM). This allows for a side by side existence of the two hypervisors based infrastructure and gives the end user the opportunity to test and pilot Hyper-V and even migrate from VMware hypervisor to Hyper-V.]
